Just bought a lovely little mk4 escort. It's in really good shape as it was dried stored for 10 years up to 2012. With 2 owners.
Was then resprayed in performance blue, all new brakes and lines, fully polybushed, cage fitted , 60mm Spax shocks and springs, full decat exhaust system etc etc some xr3 bits put on and it's a 99% rust free example (only showing slight surface rust around the fuel filler which I'm having done) .. Really chuffed with how she handles and looks.

BUT..!! it's a 1.3 4 speed, and I'm after an engine change. I don't want anything fancy, not going for speed or anything mad. Just something that can keep up with the traffic and sit at motorway speeds. I've read on a number of threads that the 1.8 zetec is the easiest.

I'M AFTER SOMEONE WHO CAN SOURCE AND FIT THE NEW ENGINE AND GEARBOX AND HOW MUCH?
