i had my car MOT'd last week and all it failed on was the drivers side front shock, easy i thought! Maybe not, i can't get an original from ford and i'm having difficulty finding aftermarket ones aswell. I don't want to spend a fortune on getting adjustable ones as it really isn't nescessary and i'm on a tight budget, are there any places or makes that anyone can recommend? Thanks!

Hi just to let you know i think i've found some from a company called proven-products who sell off old stock, they're Jamex which i think went bust a couple of years ago and they're £24.95 each which seems really good but i'll keep you updated. If they are okay then they've got a load they're getting rid of, might be useful seeing as how hard they are to get hold of now!
Have you tried www.fordpartsuk.com ? worth a try, they've been good at finding parts for my S1.

I've had the jamex shocks on my car for a couple of weeks now ( including driving to newquay and back which was 750 miles!) and they seem fine so i would recommend them! They're blue aswell which matches my car!
