Default Engine bay detailing?

What do people use to clean up their engine bays?

Any recommended product(s)? And what do you use them for?

Any tips and hints on getting the engine bay super clean?

use a steam cleaner. cover all electrical terminals such as back of alternator. and unless you want them off, dont spray over stickers. a steam cleaner can be hired from any good hire shop. or use degresser and warm water, cover all electrical stuff the same.

without taking out the engine, I find that brake cleaner in an aerosol is mint for de-greasin inner wings etc as it evaporates too.

Cleaning the floor is no easy job, its best to use parafin, petrol, wd40 etc and a few scrubbing brushes/ paint brushes etc.

Took me 3 weeks to prep my floor for paint.
