Underside cleaning..
I`m in the process of cleaning and inspecting the underside of my S1, apart from the usual muck and grime there are one or two surface spots of rust on the spare wheel housing, whats the best method of treating these without going to the expense and detracting from originality of spraying/painting the underside completely?
Also what do you use for bringing the alu/metal objects back to life? Ive started with the autoglym metal polish but its only a small tube and doesnt look like it will last long..
I`m no going for a show winner but I want to keep it as clean and as standard as possible.

to get the ally bk to good shape get 3 different types of sand paper from ruff to wet paper and sand away it looks the buisness or use autosol as for the under neath i would remove anythin thats near it and sand it down filler it and then spray it

If you have an original S1 with 32K on the clock just keep it clean and original don't spray under neath like the concourse boys cause this is not how they left the show room back in 80's. Good luck.
