I use a power washer, followed by a hand wash using the 2 bucket method. Autogylm shampoo. Followed by claying use menza clay and dodo juice lube. That will remove 90% of the tar. At this stage you could use the tardis or the holts detarrer stuff. Hose down again at this stage.

The paint should be sliky smooth now just ready for the polishing. I recommend the Autogylm SRP polish as it's a hand polish but can be used on a D/A too. A sealent such as Autogylm EGP would protect the polish. If you get to this stage your doing very well. A waxing would usually be the last thing to do. Loads to choose from on cleanyourcar.co.uk .

Ok. thanks.
So blackhole straight to wax- dont bother with sealant like EXP?
Or is that beacause Dodo juice supernatural is a hybrid sealant & wax
How do yo rate purple haze or blue velvet?

How do you rate purple haze? gloss/ durability?
Have you tried blue velvet?

Blue Velvet is awesome...very durable and the beading lasts a LONG time...

Personally I would recommend...

Duragloss 101 shampoo
G-techniq P1 polish (hand or machine applied)
G-techniq C1
Blue Velvet

If you want to be a bit OTT like I will be on my next detail...

Zaino Z6 after the C1
Zaino Z2pro x 3 with Z6 inbetween each layer
Zaino Z8 x 2 slightly diluted
