Default Water Stained Headlining

The Fiesta's suffered the familiar problem of a leaky sunroof in the past and has water staining to the light grey headlining. I've recently removed the whole interior to clean up while I decide what route to take the car, and while the headlining has come up better and is in itself 'clean' it's still stained and looks horrible! Any ideas?...

Hot water .light spray with multi purpose cleaner
like
autosmart g101, then with a damp chamois wipe off
making sure to wipe off in straight lines.
If its out hoover residue off or dry near radiator.

Thanks for the reply Kevin, to be honest that's similar to what i've done already (using 1001 spray and a damp sponge with the lining out of the car). I might try again with another more general spray I have and hot water though and see how we go...

Remember a sponge only moves it around.....
Its like washing upholstery with a cloth.
Ideally if its out use light wet vac with a good
general cleaner, g101/gp2000 etc

Funny you say that... am tempted to try it. I'm not worried about it staying original
