Sounds like you need a more agressive claybar?
Also for removing underseal use autosmart tardis(tar and glue remover)
Spray on and watch it run off(wipe it with a microfibre though) lol

G3 will rub it in causing light swirling like when you wash with a sponge
You do not want to rub it in you want to lift it of the clearcoat, then again this is my job so i care about paintwork, this lad may not

For the over-spray sonus orange clay(quite aggressive)

Wax-oil, autosmart tardis(its a tar and glue remover)spray on leave for a few minutes and wipe with a microfibre

If it's not a large area you can correct it by hand but always easier with a Rotary or DA.

Unfortunately it wont mate! The intention of a claybar is to lift contaminants a hand wash wont remove,i suggest washing your car as normal, get a food bag put over your index finger running along paint gently, then try it with no food bag,the bag increases the sensitivity in your finger
so to check all contaminants are gone use a food bag
Removing swirls by hand is a stupidly long process, its ok if its your own vehicle, but for somebody like me doing this as a job it has to be done by machine, and id recommend you look into menzerna or britemax compounds,g3 is ok but there are far better compounds out there! Menzerna is designed for hard paints though, ford is known to be on the softish side,i wouldn't recommend anybody attacking scratches without a PTG (paint depth gauge) Striking through the paint will result in a paintjob, defeating the purpose off trying the job yourself,id highly recommend a PD8(paint detective8)
