Tiny computer with windows ME
As much as it hurts to say this
You will have a Tiny System Restore pack that contains a floppy and a cd, windows ME I think is a version 6.8 (not entirely sure, i'll have to check). This will erase everything off your hard disk and reset it back to factory settings.
There is 2 problems with this.
1) if you don't have it, your fucked, unless I've got one indoors.
2) Windows ME is utter cack, and you can't run a 5.9 system restore pack (win 98) as the bios check's the cd so you can only run certain versions

Putting windows Xp on a Tiny PC that was built and designed for Windows Xp is suicidel
You'll have far more problems then you have now. And for the price of upgrading the machine, you may as well just get one built
Unfortuently dan is totally correct, I had someone come to me with a TINY PC a while ago on ME and he was so fucked
Had to put it on Win98 SE and get all the drivers myself.
Buy or build a new one. Now.

Good thing I never decided to get one of thos Tiny deals then
Cos on paper they looked fooking spot on, and hell cheap!!!
That said, the PC we got 5/6/7 years ago or whatever, was an ARIES pc - crappy little thing, but I suppose for the year and money it was good. Came with a 9.5gb (
) HDD, 128mb ram (later PC World upgrade it to 256) and a 670mhz Celeron chip, ran on Win98SE. I used that for YEARS and most of the time it ran okay. It's only when I started caining it with media downloads and asking it to do a lot of multitasking - graphics, writing discs, web stuff, etc - that it didn't like it. Wiped 98 off it and ran Win2k Pro for a while, and recently cleaned it out again and stuck XP on it - seems to run okay.....

Did you mean "designed and built for ME" ???

XP will probably have all the drivers, but unless you put at least a gig of ram in there, it just won't cope with it
