Havnt had a console in a long time! I was always a playstation guy myself! Im keen to get another one but unsure on what.

Whats the pros and cons of each? What do you guys prefer?

much the same really. buy whatever console your mates have so you can play against them.
im xbox personally.

 

I've always been on playstation over the xbox but changed when the xbox one came out purely because of forza! Fucking awesome game! Kicks the ass of gran turismo.

 

Most of my pals have xbox, so i think im going to go down that route!

 

Am i right in thinking live is free on ps4, and you have to lay of xbox?

 

Ps4 has a slightly better on screen graphic but that noticable when playing, but xbox has more online features, the and when online is alot more stable than ps network.

 

Ps4 much better and controllers are better as not as big! IMO

 

xbox live is about £35 a year or £15 a quarter.

 

PS4 has marginally better graphics.

Xbox has better online, better exclusives (forza is the prime example), better pad and operating system

yeah...the ps4s for woman and children. xbox is a mans console

 

PS4 does have better Graphics, res, frame rate with most games.

The rest you stated is personal preference of which I found not to be true and went for the PS4

 

I have an Xbox one - better exclusives (Forza), better online experience and better interface.

The only thing I wish it had that the PS4 has is Spotify!

 

I've got both. PS4 is the superior console, but Forza and Horizons rule as far as next gen games go at the moment for me.

 

I had both... but with the streaming capabilities and the constant expanding extra features the xbox one gets every month turned my ps4 to a useless box that just sat there. I had a couple of the same games on both consoles with battlefield 4 being one of them. I genuinely couldnt really see any difference at all between the consoles.
I did notice though that for some reason lots of the games were more expensive online for the ps4 and could never understand why.... usually only a fiver difference but still......thought it took the piss. Things might of changed now though.

One other issue i had was that the psn was shit. I expected more considering i was paying for it.A couple of times i went to play it and it said psn was down for maintenance. This was at 6 in the evening. I phoned to ask how long this would be and said it would be back online for 9am the following day!!!

All the big AAA titles seem to get dlc stuff etc on xbox first. The xbox live service is much better, in a minute windows 10 will improve the console further allowing cross platform with pc..... And ea access is a good buy which is only on xbox as sony want to sell you their own version for loads more £s. Especially for someone just getting a xbox one and has no games.....for 20 quid a year you get to play loads of games as much as you want including battlefield 4, ufc, madden, nba etc etc....

I ended up selling the ps4. Dont regret it one bit. I have 3 xbox ones in my house now. Great bits of kit.

As its been meantioned you might be best off asking what your mates have and go with the majority........xbox is the majority of my friends and family..
