....how much are they in the UK just now?
I can buy one here in oz to bring back for about £220 with 2 games. Obviously the power plug is different but I'm assume the console would be compatible with uk equipment?

 

Adverts on tv recently 3 games and the console between £329-370

 

My son bought one in Game yesterday. £299 including Call of Duty - Advanced Warfare (physical copy on disc) and a download copy of Forza 5

 

It would work in terms of powering it, you'd just need a uk power lead to plug into it, and then it will automatically adjust for any voltage differences, i know this because i have a US PS4 and it works fine with a UK power lead.

Do Xbox ones play DVD's and Blue Rays? if so its worth noting it wont play anything from the UK

 

Apparently all Xbox ones are region free so should play anything from anywhere, just the power adapters that are different.

I have 3 in my house, my kids both also have two at their mums house. We had one dodgy console which was replaced within a week.

Oh.., as for the region free... i think you will find the games are region free, not the dvd/blu ray player.
