Hi folks,
Thought some of you gamers may appreciate a few stills from Crysis 3.
Loving this game, its more like being in an interactive movie than a game sometimes but beware - its a real PC killer and needs serious hardware to play at max graphical level!
These are real gameplay stills, not from movie cut scenes.
To see this animated is incredible - the stills really dont do it justice at all. Its truly amazing.

All links are to the originals on my server so click the top bar of each to see them at full resolution.

Awesome stu! I'm an Xbox player so know the graphics aren't a patch on pc games but that's insane
Going from mw3 to BO2 the graphics on Xbox is an awesome jump, what's bo2 like on pc compared to this?

Pretty damn good mate, but ultimately nothing like Crysis 3.

The hardware difference it will play fluidly on though is incredible - BO2 at full detail level, on 3 screens at 5760@1080 runs at 200+FPS on mine.
Crysis 3 manages to just touch 50 if I am lucky. LOL
Eyefinity is where PC gaming comes into its own though mate... Since I set it up in jan 2012, My PS3 hasnt been turned on even once.
If your not sure what it is, play about with it here.

Black ops looks awesome on there, the game is awesome I can't seem to get on with it on my connection though, where mw3 was awesome.
I am completely computer illiterate though stu but understand. The fps bit which is a damn big difference!

I think if technology carries on the way it has been come ten years time it will be hard to tell the difference between a game and looking out the window!
Black ops 2 uses the quake 3 arena engine. Its like 6-7 year old direct X 9 tech.
The devs at Crytek are one of the only companies that don't let console versions of their games hold them back, and above is the end result.
Just a shame the game itself is pants

My mate was playing it yesterday, finished downloading it through steam, and once he booted it up and ramped up the details, I was amazed. He had to turn the settings down somewhat to get some decent framerates as the first part of the game (and probably the rest of it) is a real gpu killer.
looked stunning.... havent had a chance to play it yet, but visuals alone make me want to play it

How much did that all come out at Stu, if you can remember? Considered doing it for years, but I don't think I'm a serious enough gamer to really get the best out of it
GPU: 3 x Sapphire Radeon 7970's running 1200/1650 (1.26v/1.65v)
That line alone is going to set you back nearly Ł1000

Pity the gameplay sucked compared to Crysis 2!
I ran it on full detail both nvidia CP and game settings at 1080p on a 27" Asus and it never dropped below 110fps
I have a 690 GTX and an i5 at 5ghz

Stu make sure you grab "Metro Last Light", would be a good test.
Although I'd have a look round and see whats happening with the ATI cards as it was developed on NVIDIA.
