Default Recommend a desktop PC ...

Dell totally screwed up my order and after waiting 2 weeks I've cancelled it !

Budget is £650ish.

Mainly used for Internet but would be nice to have it quick for CAD and a nice big screen. Any suggestions please

Once you add a hard drive, graphics card etc to that PC alone you've posted, its above budget

It doesn't have windows xp either ?

Tbh a complete package would be easier rather than having to pick stuff and not too clued up on PCs.

Heard i7 is a good processor ?

XP comes with windows 7, use the drop down menu, you can either upgrade the version or take it off and save £50

Ended up calling Dell back

Got one of these touch sreen ones that will never get used by using touch screen

Thing is, it has a blu-ray player... but when I out a blu-ray in, it spins but the PC doesn't recognise that there is a disc in. On pevious PC's the disc would just load up... This one doesn't even show up in wondows explorer.

Any ideas please? Its as if it doesn't know that it has a blu-ray player ?

TBH i know you had issue with dell but a dell XPS would suit you perfect for internet and have graphics to handle the odd bit of cad.

Try Euro PC they sell dells cheaper and if you ring up they will tell you whats in stock.

shocking service, i use to use them all the time, till i had some faulty goods off them which they kept sending me back as ok, i ended up having to drive down to bolton and getting them to test them infront of me and they were infact f00ked. never used them again after that.
