Help networking a laser printer...
I've had a HP Laserjet 4+ since new in 1996 and it never misses a beat.
Currently, it is connected to a desktop PC by parallel port, and our 3 laptops can use the printer via the the PC and the wireless network.
It looks like the time has come to get rid of the fixed PC because the wife wants a laptop of her own, but I still want us all to be able to use my printer.
It has a network card in it but when I plug it into the router it isn't recognised so I'm guessing it needs set up on the network and I have NO idea how to do that.
Anyone able to explain in simple English what I need to do, or do I need to get a computer-boffin to come out and do it for me?
