Default Intrusion attacks?

the last couple of days Norton has picked up several 'high risk intrusion attacks' on my pc, normally you get medium and low risk, but these are all high risk.

Ebay and gumtree are the two sites that seem to flick them up, why the sudden attacks? is it just the norm or is there something up?

Norton Internet secuirty seems to be blocking them so is there anything i need to do? Or is it a sympton that something is up?

Just seems odd that is is all of a sudden it seems to be happening.

I had this yesterday too with avast, can't remember what site I was browsing at the time though, wasn't anything dodgy.
