As I am now on Broadband, my concerns were for greater protection. I myself run, Mcafee virus scan, and Zone Alarm personal firewall (free version) which is just the firewall, but I have antivirus protection and run spyware / windows updates regularly, plus my router has a built in firewall, also have XP's firewall enabled, so should be sound

Anyway, No, I have never been a fan of norton, plus it always comes up and seems to cause one to many a problem far to often (Mcafee has it's share too)

If you want a free personal Firewall to try then you can download the Zonelabs Zone Alarm one from

Blackice, McAfee, Zonelabs Zone Alarm, and Norton Internet Security, If you use P2P software I would say use all 4, i personally don't use Zone Alarm, but use the others plus the windows xp firewall, main system also has 3 spyware detectors and 3 anti virus programs running.

Laptop isn't as secure as it don't get used much, and there's nothing on here I can't afford to lose.
