Computer peeps "firewalls"
just started using a bittorrent download site, but it is downloading quite slow because of my firewall.
It is telling me to put in an avaliable port number but for the life of me i cannot find the one from the firewall for downloading.
WTF am i doing wrong.... it is just the xp firewall.

Oh bollox i hate it when they do that lol
Try this...... Go to control panel and select "windows firewall" then select the tab labelled "exceptions" your bit torrent program should hopefully be in that list and you should be able to tick it, if not you should be able to add it to the list

ive got a netgear router bought 2 weeks ago .. 
in fact imm looking at the bastard now
cant get it to configure for the net
they said its so easy to set up "dont they allways"
and pc builders hiding somewhere
