Just noticed this thread has been moved. What's this thread have to do with computers, consoles and I.T??? It's about a phone and offering 'general' help.

There was some mention of messages being free soon but I'm pretty sure they still cost the usual amount for MMS at the moment
Not a bad app though (now that it's working again) - bit of a pain as you have to wait for the message to send at the time, unlike any other phone that does it in the background but that's apple for you.
I can't believe they decided not to allow the 1G phone to do this in 3.0
Has anyone got apple's new native MMS (3G and 3Gs), how does that work, is it the same or does it allow background sending etc?

A part of the jailbreak has been released, just need to wait for the tools to do it now ..
Ive never looked on unlocking the 3gs, but a friend has asked, anyone know (yes I can find out for myself, but means trawling through LOTS of internet pages - blah blah)

They say they ain't letting the 3GS jailbreak out yet because they say too many people are waiting to run their 3G contracts out before getting hold of a 3GS. Something like that anyway. They are going to wait a while before releasing it. All the info is on dev team blog. Ultrasn0w (or similar) will be released with it

iBluetooth for 3.0 is now out. Just noticed it on cydia. Tested with my missus and transfers pics as it should. Didn't try anything else, but defo works.

Right, under settings (little cog image on ibluetooths home screen) scroll to the bottom and theres a section for showing 'save path' and 'FTP Root Path'. I havent edited my settings, so mine reads Var/Mobile/Documents Try tapping the 'File System' Tab at the bottom of the ibluetooth homescreen and tapping the little folder icon on the top right hand side
If its an .mp3 file tho, you may need another music player like dTunes to play it, being as Apple are stupid
