The way to do it is search those apps every so often in installous to see if a newer version has been cracked.
Is ultrasn0w available yet? I only got the email at 4am saying they've stopped work on it for now

get free apps, tether for free, put app icons into folders so looks alot neater, and easier to get to, fool the phone into thinking its in wifi mode so you can use a slingplayer over 3g,

think ive messed my iphone up a bit 
doing a retore to apple 3.0 at the min,
dont know if its software or program related but when typin messgae say like i was pressin K it would choose L or space instead,
am hoping its sumet ive downloaded that messed it up a bit and this restore wi sort it,
av just paid Ł170 for it repairing as i cracked the screen,
does anyone think it could be the new screen and digitizer what may be not right?? had it back 3 weeks and had no problems until i download a cracked version off swirly MMS and the ibluetooth (which i couldnt get to work by the way)

Swirlymms doesn't work fully for OS 3.0... So could be that.
If doing full restore you'll have to rejailbreak as all JB data will be removed.

But basically JB allows you to install applications which Apple didn't want in their App store, mainly cos the apps made Apple jealous I reckon lol. JB simply allows you to run you iPhone exactly how you want it, and not how Apple did!

No idea on 3GS JB yet mate, sorry. Being it's a new phone with new guts the DevTeam are attempting to figure it out. It won't be too long tho, they know their stuff, that's for sure!
ZVHRST: did your issue sort out? I personally would have just gone back into cydia and removed Swirly and iBluetooth before restoring it fully.... But either way, hope alls well now.
If anyone finds an app that replicates Apple 3GS's "tap-to-focus" camera app, could you let me know cheers.

Hmmm, ok scrap the pm I sent you Steve... I never read this before I wrote that.
My advice would be to rejailbreak again, but this time download the redsn0w from the dev team blog. May have been a glitch when you jailbroke last time???
The ispw file you got from apple is good enough to use again.

.DMG files are Mac files, not windows. Might be why you had problems
it is strange why it won't work, even after 2 attempts. I'm at a loss..... It should work first time everytime!

just do cydia. Install ICY via Cydia later on. I never got the choice for both when I JB'd with Redsn0w..... Just cydia? Maybe they've updated it since?

ok winterboard seems to be working ok now a well as a quick app i dloaded, seems like it may have been just ibluetooth that was a problem this time round.
