I currently have a Nokia 8600 luna which is a great phone, doesn't have loads of feautures, but looks cool and is well built, however my contract is up for renewal so ideally would like a new one but i have no idea what to choose.
I've been looking at the Nokia E71 (like the idea of e-mail and internet access on the move,and it looks pretty sleek), the E75 similar to the E71 but in pics looks a little plasticy, and the 5800 xpress - which although feels a little plasticy seemed to work quite well however concerned about the touchscreen as i can see it breaking in no time. I'm not sure what to go for, what's everyones thoughts on the above?
The other options are a blackberry or wait for the black N97 to come out in a few months, ideally want to stick with Nokia as i've found them to be the best quality over others i have tried and i'm used to the menu layouts/texting.

I used to be a Nokia boy until I got my iphone last summer.
Can honestly say it's one of the best gadgets ever, and i'm glad I could have been one of the first to get one
Anyway -
Blackberry = no-no.
Although they are "the email phone" they are lacking in vital features such as WiFi, and keypads are all disgusting.
E71 = Paving slab.
Look at it! It's all buttons!
Looks far too old and unfashionable now!
If you want a Nokia, wait for the N97 over the 5800 (if money is no object) but DEFINATELY test the durability of that flip out keyboard first!
In my opinion, if you're happy to get away from Nokia, go for an iPhone - the 3.0 update in June will push it further ahead from the rest again...
But if your heart is set on a Nokia, and you'd be willing to pay for the contract, you're right to wait out for the N97!!

iPhone pushing things further? To me they have only just caught up. Can you send MMS (Picture Messaging) yet without an added application?
Personally I thought about one.. but I opted for the Blackberry.
