I would say that you should be able to put the cards in the computer and get them to talk without a HUB/ROUTER

as you proberbly know you can do this with two normal network cards and a crossover lead so i dont see why two wireless card wouldnt work.

You can do it, I had to do this on Tony Turbo's sytem and laptop
