Sound problems..

Sound problems..
I installed a newer version of msn the other day (not sure if its related) and now ive got no sound and videos only play for a few seconds then stop

Id use system restore, restore back to a day where you know everything was working ok, this will remove any potential issues you have right now, or caused yourself by doing something

hi puss,
if you havent fixed this yet, here is what i would do :
1) uninstall msn , and re-install the version that worked for you.
2) check your soundcard settings , its probably a codec that caused the audio loss
and it'll also interfere with video.restore defaults for the card , if this doesnt work,
go to " add/remove programs " , remove audio drivers
and then re-install them.
