To do with network issues i think?

I have a wireless network in my house and all is well BUT....

On the laptop if i play videos from the shared folder on my main pc they stutter every min or so?

Is there a way to cache the films so say the films are 5 mins behind real time if that makes sense?

What speed is your connection? Wireless is something im not a fan of, it tends to drop data packets when you're working it hard (for instance, playing videos across it), which is a possible cause of the stuttering.

Try copying the video into a temporary folder on the laptop and see if this stops the problem.

 

The connection is 4mb ?

I'll try the copying over tomorrow thanks
