wicked, well done Tempt.. 
I filled up with petrol tonight, and Id normally say, 20 embassy please... felt wierd not saying it..
saved a fiver tho 
I was pissed off being pissed off when I could have a ciggy, ie work/site etc, so just thought... fook it, tonights the night (sunday)
To be fair, its not been too bad.. I really want to do it this time after loads of failed attempts...
normally last 1 day and thats only because I was ill or something..
got he alan carr book too.. brilliant book and a very worth while investment.. if you havent got it,m then by all means you/or anyone can have it once Ive finished it here's hoping....

i was getting fed up with stinking off smoke, and having to go outside for a fag! also i don't feel its fair on zara having a stinky mummy lol
so i'm doing it for her as well as me, although it is hard when rudey comes in from having a fag! It's very tempting lol
According to the silk quit thing i've saved £7.52 so far and 2 hours and 30 minutes on my life!!

why do you have to do the big quit thing to stop smoking?
seems weird.can't you just cut down so that you dont actually smoke anymore??

I don't understand why its different to everything else that you need to stop, reduce whatever...
bit like resolutions, or diets etc... as soon as people break them its like oh well thats broken mayaswell go back to how I was before and carry on.
just thing its trouble if the motivation is how long you can not have one for rather than deciding just not too do it cos its expensive and bad for your health?

quit for about a yr to save up for a brand new mg zr. 4 months after i bought it a gate crushed the car. i started again. quit after 5 months, was off them for 8 months. and it slowly crept back in to my life when i was out drinking. for ages it was a weekend thing, then it was a weekend and evening thing, now it getting full time again. its THE most annoying issue in my life. i'll be honest, i love smoking. but hate smell on fingers/clothes etc. i wont be able to afford to smoke 20 a day and run my rs thats for sure.

its weird, I seemed to enjoy it too... Couldnt beat a nice meal followed by a cig..
Sorry to hear that your back on them Especially after a long stretch like that... makes my 2 well, 3 now nights seem petty..
A mate reckons, after 2 weeks its easier, as in the cravings go.. I doing well... so far so good..
Give up again mate... you done it before, do it again, and stay off this time.. it seems that most people start again, after an incident.. ie crash or something... No excuse tho..

i agree westy but the irony involved after your weened of the cigs to afford a car then it gets flattened is far from a joke at the time.
i will try soon, im just not ready to yet, need to lose weight first, i lost loads of that and it piled back on. dear oh dear, i have got myself in a rut
it gets easier a month later ish when u begin to forget about them being a part of your life

Westy, cheers man, I thought about having one before i done my first driving lesson today, but would of just been stupid!!
Keep at it, the WORST thing you can do is buy some!! everytime you want one, DONT smoke it, it's v.v.v.hard but WELL worth uit once you enjoy not having one when you know you normally would!

oh my god it's sooooo hard at times!
zaras not well and is really clingy and crying nearly all the time, and my stress levels by the end of the day are sky high and all i want is a fag!!! so i've turned to ice cream
i'm gonna get fat but thats ok because once i've sorted the smoking thing, the next thing i want to do is get fit so a few extra pounds won't make that much of a difference ... i hope!
And in the car instead of a fag i have mints
i'd really love one but i really dont

I actually dont feel too bad, even after a couple of beers, but did have to leave the pub early.. not ready for that yet..
