laptop auto sleep
When I close the lid it goes to standby automatically, now I plan on using the laptop with the TV but ideally I dont want it open, is there a way to disable the auto standby when the lid is closed?
also when using the TV as the monitor can I select to have the laptop screen off altogether so as not to waste power or do any damage?

when you use the tv as a monitor and you want to turn of the laptop screen. you just press "Fn" + F12
to adjust the power you right click on the desktop--->go to properties----> screen saver--->power, then you adjust there
