I've got 3 amiga's now cos when all my mates were chucking them out i took em in. Bring em out once every year or so. There's never been a football game as good as kick off 2 for playability. Me and my brother played it every night with the trusty old zip stick.
You can still play kick off 2 on the emulators but never translated as well as teh original.....

Yip i had the 1200, what a machine in its day! i also had the wildcard unit for the snes which allowed u to copy saga and super nintendo cartridge games onto floppy disk then play them through the wildcard, man i had thousands of games for that and so cheap, would hire a game then copy it.

Sold my Amiga and the 100's of games I had for it... wish I hadn't now
Still got my C64 though... It's the second one I bought... the Terminator edition and they'd just introduced the cartridges... which I thought were great because they loaded pretty much straight away rather than waiting 10 mins (if you were lucky) for the cassettes to load (with that stripey screen that made ya eyes go wafty) .

Team HOTHOT!
I used to be well up in the Amiga world, used to help run the local "Amiga User Group" about 6 years ago and would submit articles for Amiga Format occasionally aswell
I used to have an A1200T with a Blizzard 68060/60 and 64mb RAM, 80gig HD, CD-RW, Panasonic LS120 drive and a few other neat bits and bobs, Used to use it for surfing the net and everything, had the latest operating system - Directory Opus II Magellan (which used the Workbench 3.1 core and the D'Opus software built round the Kickstart 3.1 ROM)
What a bit of kit, Still got shitloads of software for when I get another, might go buy myself an A4000

I had a vic 20 !
and then and amiga. Absolutely loved Kick off 2 and supercars 2 and when the Sensible soccer series came out I had many sleepless nights. Graphics on all those games were piss poor compared to now, but surele the playability was still better then ?
I used to work for a company a few years back that had an amiga setup with Sensible soccer. There was also a PS1 setup (and it had just been released) yet all the lads had a league running on the Amiga. Was quality

I used to be into Amiga big time, got me into pcs and now my business so I owe Commodore alot. Fond memories, I went to the cd32 launch and then went for a beer with David Plesence and the Sumner brothers. I think I asked them about a million questions. Oh great times.
Anyway these 2 demos really bring it back for me.....

They still make demos but the cpus and quality have improved slightly lol

atari st in its standard form was shit.
the grafix chips were shit compared to the amiga, but I would say the Atari had great games.
the plus point you could just plug you MIDI divice in and chuck cube base on and hay presto you have a sound studio
