i loved speed ball 2 kick off 2 lotus chall super cars list goes on
its an A1200, the first Amiga that was 32 bit, had 2mb memory i think. I had a 500+ and a 600 before the 1200, i even had a commodore cdtv at one point, that was horrendous, used to crash all the time . My fave game was always sensible soccer.
Actually the A3000 was the first 32-bit Amiga
Your right, the A3000 was, i meant the first affordable 32bit amiga, wasnt the A3000 about £2k or something silly ?.

Yeah it was megabux. When I worked at Diamond Computers (remember them? 10 page advert in the mags!), we had to destroy about 40 of them for some big claim up! That was truly painful!!!

Yes, my other half had an Electron - we had a Beeb Model B, well several, they kept popping power supplies! THen we had a Master 128 with a single and twin disk drives (oh the days!), the Teletext adapter and ROM, a two foot tall pile of 5.25" disks!

Strykers Run was quality - and so was Repton!

flash bk!!
i remember playing that for hours on end
Many years of myne and my brother's yoof were spent in front of the TV, much to mother's disdain, playing Repton and designing levels. You can now relive the old days as Superior have rebuilt some of their games to run on Windows - check out http://www.reptonworld.co.uk/

So your joystick was almost worn out then.

A500+ was awesome, speedball 2 and Lotus Esprit Challenge were awesome.

I was well into the Amiga scene when they first came out

An original A500, with RAM upgrade, 2nd external drive with hardware copier, monitor, 20MB ( ) harddrive, genlock, sampler, and allsorts of other gadgets!
Was very active in the trading circles and had over 4000 discs, most with atleast 1-3 games on, and thousands of demo discs too.

I also had an A1000, the very first one that had all the signatures of the designers/builders moulded in the inside of the case lid

They were the golden days of home computing
