Default how do i turn on animations..ie smileys?
none of the smileys on here are working for me on my comp , its done this once before and i was told to turn on the animations somewhere but i cant remember how to do it , ive got W98 on my pc

Been a while since I looked at W98.....

but have a look in IE>tools>internet options, and look for 'play animations in web pages'

Only other this is your internet cache is full. This cured mine.

in IE do Tools > Internet Options > Delete files then confirm.

oops should be internet options>advanced. If you haven't changed anything, then as above, clearing the cache should sort it.

Tried both of them methods and still not working , i am now thinking it has something to do with zone alarm , as it started happening after i tried a free upgrade to ZA pro

if you have ZA pro and cant see the smileys , go to privacy>main , now turn cookie control to off.

that should do it
