Default Getting a new computer tomorrow!!

Yeah thats right, im getting a new pc

Wanted to upgrade my graphics card the other day and got a nvidia ge force 6 series card, only to find out my pc has the VERY VERY old pci style slots, so basically it was a waste of space, and this computer has proved to be as upgrade-able as a calculator!

So tomorrow im picking up my new pc(well just the base unit because i have flat screen and all my gubbins), very basic spec is, AMD athlon 64 x2 4200(duel core baby!) 2gb of ram(not sure exact spec yet), 256mb vid card(unsure of make yet) and it has loads of shit on the front of the tower like card readers etc etc and this cool cd printing thingy, not sure what it is yet, and thats all i know until tomorrow, cant wait, feel like a little kid on the day before xmas or something

Get me up some pics, specs and price please chap when you can - my mate is after a new machine and this is the sort of spec he is after for his I know he deffo wants to go duel core, and have min 256mb graphics and a 500w PSU, plus a decent HDD (tho he'd be happy with an 80-120 drive) and a DVD-RW drive... Thats about all he needs as it's only for medium gaming and net surfing - but he wants is *fairly* future proof....

I suppose I need to start thinking bout future proofing mine, but then I only use it for burning CD's/DVD's and net - no gaming or anything - and only really light photoshop stuff......

right, got the computer and got it up and running and fuck its quick makes my old celeron 2.6ghz (1 gb ram) seem slow as anything in comparison.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ processor
2GB DDR SDRAM
300GB Seagate
Dual Layer DVD Re-Writer Drive
256MB ATI Radeon X1300 Pro Graphics
9-In-1 Media Card Reader
7 USB2 Ports
2 Firewire Ports

Case isnt nothing to write home about i know but i dont careas its under my desk.
Very quiet aswell but when you first press the on button it sounds like a space ship taking off then it goes quiet after about 10seconds?

Loving it though

P.s did take pic of inside before setting up but accidently deleted it on my digicam cant be arsed pulling it all back out agian today

I originally had a 3.5" built in card reader on my previous PC, but when I got the current one, there was no space for it Least I thought there wasn't - it's a Dell Optiplex and they have funny shaped fronts and the only spare 3.5" bay had a curved front with no cut out. So I sold the card reader and used the portable one I already had (it's a card reader plus a 16mb built in flash drive)

Only a couple months ago did I realise (while I had the case open) that the curved front on the spare 3.5" bay was only a blanking plate and you can remove it to show a cut out for a 3.5" drive, such as a floppy or card reader

So I either want to buy a new interal card reader, or prefferably, a desktop free standing one, but I can't find one that has a built in "stand" to sit on the desktop
