Default Digicam issue

say i take 5pics and then want them on my pc, i plug it all in and then click on my digicam to see whats on the cams internal memory and then when i see my pics i then try to copy and then paste then all onto my pc at once but it comes up with an error message saying something about not enough memory? so i have to then copy and paste each picture seperatly?

Im guess its somthing to do with my digicam not having much memory? cant be my pc because i have 1gig of ram.

Sounds like the PC IMO.

You need to give us the EXACT error message and any errors from the event logs

(Right Click My Computer and choose 'Manage')

Either that, or the usb cable can't handle that much of a data transfer in one hit

Most of my photos are 2048 x 1536 and 1Mb.

I can move a good few of those with no problem and I only have 500Meg memory.

Do you have any other applications open when you are trying to move pics?

How full is your hard drive?

How big is the Paging file (virtual memory)? Look in system properties.

Just realised you are connecting the camera by USB? I use a card reader.

I'll try mine on USB.

.

THe only thing I can think of, is that the photo size is too big for the usb cable to transfer across
