Unfortunately I may be selling my non custom S1 due to circumstances at work which would mean using my S1 on a regular basis. It would be unfair of me to do this to the car and therefore feel its best I let it go to someone who can treat it like it should be.

Anyone who knows the car will know how mint it is and I will post pics up as soon as I get the chance.

The car has been valued by the RS Owners Club at £6,250.00 and I will be looking for around this figure.

The car is as follows:

1985 S1 non custom (no sunroof, no central locking, keep fit windows)
All original panels and paint in immaculate condition
Never been welded, the underside is spotless.
Spare wheel has never been used and has the original MXV
The boot floor still has all the date stamps on from when it left the factory.
The interior is also A1, lighter has never been used, and the yellow check stamps are still in place.
The car has 78K on the clock
The engine is a Power Engineering lump, lightened and balanced, stage 3 head and cam, 4x4 cosworth intercooler and custom rad running two 8inch Kenlow fans, AP CP2000 fast road clutch with a S2 flywheel. The car is very quick and is easily pushing out 200+ bhp at 15psi. The car has been setup by Stu at Motorsport Developments and his comment was that this is one of the best S1's he has driven and is better than alot of concours S1's he works on.

This car is seriously good and I will be gutted to see it go but I cant spoil such a great car.

The car will also come with a classic additions car cover and possibly some spare parts depending upon offer.

As any S1 owner will know, good spares are very hard to find and I have built up quite a collection inc brand new front body kit arch, side skirts, corner bumpers, fuel pump craddle, light & indicator stalks, front crossmember, rear lights, nuts and bolts, clips, cross over pipe, rocker cover, bushes, suspension top mounts etc etc, the list is endless. All of which are brand new genuine parts. These can either go with the car or be sold separately. I won't sell any parts until the car has sold though incase something comes up and I can keep the car afterall.

The car has the original bill of sale, full service history which is 100% complete and very extensive. This car is as good as they come!

Surprised no-one's interested. A few weeks back they were flying off the shelves as soon as they were put on.

I can confirm that this is one of the best S1s left especially cos its a non custom.
I actually prefer non customs, they not only look better without the sunroof but you don't get the hasle of a rusting roof due to water getting in through the sun roof.

This car is spotless, if you are seriously interested in buying a show car you will not be disapointed.
