[SPIT *** Scooby STi For Sale *** SPIT] LOTS OF PICS
Hi guys
Right I am putting this up for sale on here (don't seriously expect to sell it to anyone on here, but you might know someone that wants 1 ) but please don't fill the thread with crap Thanks.
Right it's a 1996 Subaru Impreza WRX STi version 3, manufactured October 96.
Was imported into the uk in and registered in June 2000, so it's been here a while now and it's still alive
Anyway I haven't had it long, it's a lovely car and im well impressed with it (as I always hated the scoobies, so thought I best get 1 and see why there popular, and all I can say is, I would have another 1 at some point, but there is a couple of other cars I want atm, so this 1 has to go).
Right, as I said it's a 96 STi v3, which makes it a Model Year 97, and thus has a GC8D4ED chassis code, which means it's fitted with the later (97) engine, handbuilt red top with 300PS (297ish bhp) from the factory
It's done 52000 miles (71000 on the clocks but was imported with 50000 km's on it 30000 miles ish).
I have all mot's since 2000 for it, aswell as some paperwork for servicing and repairs, I also have a receipt from when a well known subaru dealer sold it last year for £11000
Anyway, the car has just had a brand new Exedy Organic Clutch fitted with a 230mm diameter (slight uprate) and has a 2yr unlimited warranty with it (only done around 400 miles on it so far tho).
While the clutch was being fitted, the flywheel was replaced, and the rear crank seal was also replaced as it was weaping.
At the same time I bought a HKS 3" - 3" de-cat pipe and had this fitted, so the exhaust is now 3" all the way through.
It has a Full Stainless Tanabe system fitted, and is very loud, but sounds great
There is a K&N induction kit fitted aswell as the exhaust, and the ecu is chipped, and is currently running 1.2 bar with no problems at all.
I only run it on optimax and millers Octance plus booster (have a couple of spare bottles I can throw in with the car )
There is a HKS Turbo Timer which is wired through the CAT 1 alarm system, and it's also got a tracker in there somewhere.
It has the Red / Grey STI seats, and does have electric windows all round and AirCon (which does work 100%).
Outside the only real mod is an STI v5 / 6 rear spoiler with working 3rd brake light, and a set of 17" alloy's that have been recently refurbed and painted Anthricite / black (look very nice when clean).
It has the usual STI clear / red rear lights, and still has the orange front and side indicators.
Suspension is GAB top adjustables and is very hard, corners well, altho it does have some understeer and you can get it to oversteer aswell if you really push it
As said it sounds very nice, runs sweet as a nut and has plenty of power, not had it on a rolling road, but power should be well over 300bhp (deffo quick anyway).
Bodywise, there is no rust anywhere, not even underneath it, no evidence of any fighting (accident damage), but there are a few tiny dings / ripples from stones and doors etc, but there are very minor and can only be seen if the light catches it right. There are also a few small stone chips around the front, but nothing nasty.
Now for the ICE:
It's all been professionally fitted.
1 Dash top mounted 7" widescreen screen (size is a guess to be honest, looks quite large)
1 Roof Mounted 8" widescreen screen (size is a guess, looks
quite large)
1 in dash DVD Player, plays DVD, DVD-R, VCD, MP3 etc
1 Kenwood KDC-PSW9527 Head unit (Pro-Logic II, SRS WOW, etc etc)
1 Kenwood KDC-C719MP 10 Disc CD Auto-Changer (supports MP3 as well)
Kenwood KFC-PSR71P Component Speakers Front and Rear
1 Kenwood KAC-PS811D 1600W Amp on carpeted stand
1 Kenwood KAC-PS541 960W Amp on carpeted stand
1 Directed Audio 1.2 Farad Power Cap on carpeted stand
4 Kenwood Crossovers (2 on front door cards, 2 on carpeted stands in boot
2 12" Kenwood Subs in Custom Carpeted box's
2 Red Multi Led Lights in boot (although 1 does have a crack in it, but there only about £5 to replace)
2 Sets of Kenwood tweeters
This sound system gives crystal clear sound and the bass is amazing.
As the head unit is Dolby Pro-logic, if your watching a film in the car, the surround sound makes it feel like your in the cinema.
I think thats about it, but if you need to know anything else just ask.
Sorry the pics arn't the best, but you get the idea.
Now a couple of pics before I had the rims repainted:
Price is open to SENSIBLE OFFERS / may PX or SWAP WHY
