Someone I know has all this lot for sale but I'm not sure how much to offer him, he isn't really bothered in selling it or keeping it but would be pretty cool to have.

Apparently he was shagging the sales woman so he got press photos and a second hand book which has never been stamped.

Any ideas on what it's worth?

Yeah I think he thinks it's worth hindreds of not more, I'd probably pay 50€-100€ no more as not really that fussed would be cool but not essential

i've tried selling this sort of memorabilia before with very little interst and some of it is quite rare.
i'd hazard a guess at somewhere between £150 and 200 quid, getting that though is a different thing

The normal 3dr brochure and RS500 go on ebay for about 10 quid each.

The RS500 brochure is usually about £25, the early press pack with the prototype car with the early front grille and wheels is unusual. That car is shown in the flesh in a couple of the cosworth books

I had it in nmy head the press pack was around 40-50, so I would say 200 tops for the lot sounds about fair. After all, he didn't pay for any of it lol.

Put them on ebay at 99p starting price and they will find there price.. they could make £50 they could make £500 you never know with cossie bits

Not really, no. Most things have a value because of the cost to produce, or the demand vs supply, etc. For example, and Escort Cosworth was worth £20k (or whatever it was) when it was new because of the cost to produce and it's place in the market. It might well be worth more than that now because there's fewer of them left, so is supply vs demand.
