Default Nissan vanette,tax and long test,81k,£800ono 51 plate,pics added,faults cured and p/x

Very quick ad for my very trusty 51 plate vanette.
I bought this a year ago to replace my transit that I was living in,this was originally going to get the camper treatment but not long after buying it I got left some money and bought a caravan instead.
Still it came with a very short mot so I set about going over what it needed.
A quick mot history check revealed it had never been welded but after giving it a good dig about it needed a few plates, which have been done to a solid standard and can't be seen externally on the van.
A couple of tyres, number plates and she passed her ticket.
The van has been very very good to me but is totally surplus to requirements now,I've been to Aberdeen/Swansea in it 4 times with no fuss and it's always laden.
Mechanically these do not break, slow as hell but very tough, there's nothing really to go wrong, one wire to the fuel pump solenoid and it runs!!!
It's mid engined like most jap trucks and handles well for a big barge, not too rattly for a van either, especially as there's no bulkhead.
The floor is lined as are some of the interior panels,it has twin sld and a proper hatch which holds up fine.
The only mod is a tinted rear screen to keep the thieves out, totally boggo otherwise.
Some s/h and I've done a mega service on it too,oil twice, fuel and air filters, greased every cable, tightened the belts, topped all fluids.
It's never used oil or water and starts quite literally instantly in any weather,I fired it up after standing all winter in feb at 5am and it kicked straight away, very reliable.
It has a roof rack too that looks like it'll take 8x4 sheets and a cd player with power steering, that's about it for luxuries.

FAULTS

Occasional whine from the pas
Has been a bit smoky under full load but have been told its EGR valve which gets blanked tommorow night
A few,and I mean a few paint imperfections, ding in the wing, light scratches on one side, surface rust on the arches and wiper motor aperture but a VERY presentable van, will be washing it tommorow for pics to illustrate
Slight wear drivers seat
Battery light comes on at idle/low revs, have tested all charging systems and their perfect,I think there's a slightly loose alt belt, will sort this tommorow as well
Front two tyres could do with changing before mot, legal but not brilliant.

Overall a stonking van that fits under your tip barriers,is not too big or too juicy, looks very presentable and is 150% reliable.

P/x welcome as I'm always getting bored but money talks and the price has some negotiation, bear in mind my valuation of your vehicle might not be what yours is,I'm not out to offend but be realistic.

A couple of house clearances would pay for this and it keeps under the radar way better than a tranny,I used to get stopped twice a week in the transit but ive never been in this.

For the full payment I'll deliver it anywhere you like but won't be messed about, cash before it goes as it might not be me driving, can't abide messers.

Right sorted pas and smoking issues now, just unplugged the advance on the EGR valve and it's mint, would be easy to blank if needed, pas was about 100ml of fluid and working.
I couldn't fathom out why the main beam symbol was staying on the dash but this signifies a break in the lighting circuit (clever eh??) and turned out to be a loose headlamp bulb.
It had occassionally gone a bit slower on hills and this was actually a sticky caliper, which I removed, cleaned, hot washed the carrier, copper greased the sliders and is now mint.
She had a clean today and here's a few pics,I forget how straight it is.

It's a cheap no frills van for someone, make a nice s20det conversion!!!
Most of the bits of a serena fit ie petrol tank etc plus plenty of rotten s13 nissans about to rape for this.
It's the easiest thing I've ever worked on,seats flip up and the engines there in front of you.
It never goes over 1/3 on the temp gauge and has lovely warm heaters as well.

Also forgot, got two new number plates to go on as the laminate lifted on the original after a heavy steam wash session and water got in,also doesn't need a tyre now as spare is like new and drivers one is not too bad at all,I'll swap the pass for the spare,a mate told me he has 4 spare good tread tyres on rims for me so if they turn up I'll throw them in too.
It's a 114.3X5 stud pattern so nearly all jap wheels fit except early scooby, which guess what,I have a set of 17's of!!!!
Fooking typical.
