Nice Spec 2wd Sapphire Cosworth..
1989 G 2wd Magenta
MOT May 2013 and all old mots
Full re spray 3 years ago near excellent condition but has a few stone chips on the front end . had new heated screen and brand new headlights to freshen it up.. Rouse rear spoiler and 500 copy front splitter. Also has the middle bar removed on the front bumper and all proper mountings for bumpers not cable tied like some.
Underside fully painted in magenta and waxoyled in sills and arches ect
Battery moved to boot with key/ kill switch if parking up for long periods to make it easier and tidied the engine bay up.
Very good light grey Recaro interior no rips in drivers seat ect .
Innovative wideband AFR gauge in drivers pillar pod
Autometer Pro Comp oil pressure / oil temp and boost gauges in centre vent on dash
80mm Stack 8k rev counter fitted in dash where the original was with recall button.
Freshly re furbished in silver this month old style Compomotive 6 spoke MOs in 18x8 et33 with yokohama parade spec2 215/35/18 s
Wilwood grand national 6 pots with 378x32 AP rotors(new) fitted on Reyland bells and brackets
Rear big disk conversion with new 2wd calipers. 300mm rotors bells and brackets.
Gaz Gold coilovers with new 350lb front and 180lb rear springs. 2 other sets of springs available but harder.
3door front hubs and tca’s
A1 built engine
200 block 6 long studs lightened and balanced 7.2:1 with valve cutouts
Touring car head bd15 inlet and bd14 exhaust cams with quaife vernier pulleys fitted and timed by reyland
2wd vibratec engine mounts
Modified 2wd plenum same as jenspeed ones 10mm spacer with manifold matched to inlet ports.
Siemens 83lb injectors fitted in reyland fuel rail with aeroquip fittings
2wd exhaust manifold with spacer block modified by reyland for external wastegate
Garrett GT3076R turbo with .82 exhaust housing from reyland with the proper oil drain pipe / water pipes and supply hose with filter.
Tial 44mm external wastegate from reyland with screamer pipe
Alcon 6 paddle clutch from woodford garage.. (my car in their advert)
Autronic SM4 ecu
Carlooms uk 8 injector braided / labelled engine loom (4 used)
Autronics boost solenoid
Launch control and als
Mapped by mark shead @ MAD last year.
Quaife big tooth T5 gearbox by CTS.
Standard gear ratios and selectors
New ford gearbox mount.
2wd Gripper diff brand new last year
Not noisy like I was expecting it to be and works perfectly
Group A diff mount
New prop bearing and rubber
044 fuel pump with ptfe lined aeroquip fuel lines with fittings all from think automotive with new ford filter ect and all re wired.
Stainless exhaust with std fitting onto turbo as I got the adaptor so I didn’t have to have v band on turbo.
Brand new magnex centre section with mongoose 4 inch back box as wanted it a bit quieter. All nicely heat wrapped
New fan loom with override switch in car.
Pro alloy intercooler
Pace alloy radiator
Tial BOV to match external wastegate
Re conditioned 90A alternator
Reconditioned 2wd starter motor
Alloy header tank
Swirl pot
Oil breather
All samco or roose hoses in blue water and boost.
all poly bushed all new wheel bearings all new oils silkolene pro engine oil silkolene gearbox and diff oils new disks and pads has cost me a fortune…
with the same spec on the old level 8 ecu it made 496.4 bhp @ 2 bar .
since mapped on Autronics is so much nicer . more responsive and smooth but with more boost.
Its had all my money thrown at it for the past 10 years and now with a baby to look after and working away 4 days a week I have no tome for the car.. even when I had time it did under 1k a year..
Any inspection welcome but please no cars full of lads turning up as I wont even bother getting the car out Im sorry if this offends but ive heard too many horror stories.
Again sorry for sounding anal but any test drives will be done by myself unless I have the asking price in my hand as its cost me too much to lose so not taking the risk.
There is probably more ive forgotten so pm me any questions and ill add it in on here.
I will take some better pics once the rain stops but it takes too long to clean and dry to bring out just for pics..

Oh yeah im asking for 10k ono for the car.. Please don’t fill this thread up with crap like you can pick these up for 5k ect . I think it’s a very fair price considering the parts and condition ect..
Ill put some up with the old wheels as its only them and the indicators that have been changed since.

thanks mate.... its funny as when i used to read the ford mags and see people finish their cars and put them up for sale i thought they were crazy.. now ive got mine pretty much where i want it and im bored.. even spent loads on sound deadening and making the exhaust quiet to take the baby out in the car but its too much hassle especially moving other cars out to get this one past and then praying for it not to rain ect..

ive priced it to sell to be honest.. i know some sell at this price that have basic mods. i know they all seem to go in parts lately but really dont think i could bring myself to do that. if it had a problem i guess i could but as their is nothing wrong with it i want it to go as a whole... i got the new wheels last month to see if that would make me change my mind but i still feel the same.. time to go to a new owner who will use it and not like me shit myself every time it goes out..

Love the car, very very nice example. It looks like the prices are finally changing for saphs and that is way way overdue. I would value mine at a similar figure, and there are penty really nice cars still out there worth the same. GLWTS
