Omg, the car WAS a cat d, wen the post started.. Wasent till 2 week after i phoned to query it. It then got changed. I still left the part saying it was but no more, cos IDE already stated it was, so honesty the best way. So not shooting

I don't see what the problem is tbh!? If the car is recorded as "recovered" then it isn't a cat d right off.
If it is recorded as "recovered" it just means that is has been stolen and then recovered either undamaged or with only minor damage.
It would only be a cat d or cat c if it was recovered in a total loss state, which appears not to be the case.
