Bugger, just come on here to find out about it as i have just talked myself into getting it in the last couple of days, let me know if you dont get it.
He wont answer his PM's!! someone give him a call, i dont know how long the missus will let me away with this!!!! Oh, i said i'm having it but I havent talked to GUZZLER yet, guys, dont want to shoot myself in the foot, but i havent bought it yet.
Yeah, got him, really nice guy, sounds like a belter, only problem is the missus with the purse strings........made an offer, hope he accepts, just cant be arsed with the 6 hr train journey and the hazardous snowy journey home in the car if i get it!! brrrrrr
I have met and his mrs Lorraine plenty of times - both great people and if he says the car is what it is, dont expect anything different - it will be spot on.
I his kids are there, watch out for any potentially bollock destroying punches
Anyways, flights booked, going tonight, made more sense to do the driving when the roads were quieter etc. And get to play with the kids in their new car tomorrow.
Matt you better have a cuppa ready for me, i'm frozen!

the kids are a bit higher now, Paddy would get more of a stomach punch
i'll get the flavia machine on, good choice of tea, coffee, cappuccino etc
na its cool, i either put contaminated fuel in just south of Scotch corner or the fuel pump might have packed it, Matt was a star....especially at 2 in the morn when i phoned for some ideas!?!?!?! Got it recovered to beefy's and proceded to check a few things, eventually got it down to fueling, got some fuel out of the rail and checked for contamination and it looked fine but the pressure wasnt exactly massive when i switched on the ignition to pump some out into the bottle so Matt is sending beefy an evo pump and it will get fitted on tuesday, sadly i needed to go home and will be away all week in aberdeen for a Well control Course. No big deal. Beefy as per usual was a star, not forgetting Special K!! or Matt..... Got some pics out of it
Yeah it helps, Matt was as helpfull as he could be at the end of the phone at 2 in the morn, offered a new pump as soon as he found out it might be that, sending it in post to Beefy and Beefy started phoning recovery firms for me at 4 in the morn (my battery was dieing) top blokes. Beefy even offered to drive me home!! told him dont be daft.
cutch how long did it take the aa man to turn up after i left yeah !! just wasnt your day mate , glad to see u got home ok tho, looks like karls got fuel pump to fit them , lol

my old one suddenly gave up on me aswell, bloomin' fords
How sudden was yours mate? It started missing on me badly and cont'd to lose power until it stopped completly...very abrupt, no warning what so ever but from what Matt says it could have been on its way out and now its pressure has got too low for it to supply....
mine had a couple of days of slightly holding back when it came on boost, at the time i wasnt sure what it was, then the pump pretty much gave up on me
it also struggled to start if the fuel was a little low, all as if the pump had just become weak, but i didnt realise that at the time.
