1999 mk1 focus 1.6 forsale
This is my beloved 1999 Mk1 ford focus
I have owned her for just under a year now.
When I bought her she needed some work doing to get her through the MOT. She had a *full service*, new front shocks, brake lines, wish bones, windscreen and a new battery. The only time she has let me down was when I got back from Canada. I had left her for a month and the front brakes had stuck on so I had then changed from solid disks to vented all new pads and disks. At the full service last year I was told I would need new drums and shoes. So I had the rears upgraded from drums to disks with new disks and pads and new handbrake cable. At that point I changed the filter for a cone filter( I still have all the stuff to put it back to standard.) She had 3 new Pirelli tyres at Christmas and one more last week. She had a new 2fast2cool manifold last month along with a new fan belt and tensioner and a pro-tech cat back last week fitted by Pipecraft. (it is quite loud but I still have the middle box that can be put back in to quieten her right down. she has also now had a new front bumper as got bored of people asking me what had happened. She runs very well and the zetec-s has never missed a beat. I'm only selling due to I can't sell my wife to be's car and its loosing money.
In Summery.
The Good Bits:
Cam belt done at 85,000 miles
Lots of service history *full service: Magnatec Oil, Oil filter, Air filter, pollen filter, flat window wipers, Twin core HT leads, coil pack, Denso Iridium spark plugs, lubricate everything.
New front bumper from photo
Upgraded front brakes
Upgraded rear brakes
Upgraded (Jan speed) manifold
Upgraded air filter
Upgraded stainless steel exhaust.
Denso Iridium spark plugs
Twin core HT leads
Nearly new good tyres.
Ford 6 disk CD player
Ally wheels with new centre caps
Washed nearly every Sunday the good one from the ARC car wash (with under car protection)
Lots of MOT
Lots of Tax
at least 40-45mpg
The Honest Bits:
A small wear hole in the drivers seat (were I have left my wallet in my back pocket for the last year wile driving)
The paint is starting to bubble on the rear wheel arches and the boot.
She is a bit ruff around the edges but nice other wise.
quite high mileage most of witch are motorway
If you are after a reliable, cheap to run car, that will eat up the motorway miles and been well looked after, then this is the car for you.
I am advertising else were so I don't need any more thanks
I could deliver for a small fee but other then that she will be in Rawreth Essex.
If you have any questions please ring me Luke 07887690528
