Escort Cosworth (K) Pacifica Blue
FOR SALE:
Due to unforeseen issues. I have put my Escort Cosworth back up for sale. I did originally put the car up for sale in November. Due to work commitments and personnel health issues, I was unable to continue the sale late 2009. Apologises in advance for not replying to any sent PMs.
Escort RS Cosworth LUX.
Standard Black Leather interior. Standard Radio/CD player
Registered 01.01.1993.
Pacifica Blue.
10 months MOT remaining.
6 months road TAX remaining.
3 Previous owners. Myself being the 4th.
I have owned this vehicle for the past 10 1/2 years.
The car has covered only 57000 miles. I bought the car when it had 42000. I still have the original Autotrader advert for the vehicle.
I reside in Essex.
The car has also appeared in October 2000 Fast Ford issue, and was present at the Jeremy Clarkson Escort Cosworth shoot out, finishing 7th in the drag race, and also appeared in the Top Gear magazine feature which followed the shootout.
I have used the car at Santa Pod 10th May 2008, posting a time of 12.21 @ 117.21 mph.
I also used the car at Ford Fair 2006 0-60. My best time being 3.81 secs.
Full service history is present.
This Escort RS Cosworth has been extensively modified to a very high level. All work has been completed by M.A.Developments.
Engine Modifications :
Complete engine rebuild by Mark Shead of M.A.Developments.
7:5:1 compression ratio.
Head ported and polished.
Mark Shead spec camshafts.
Vernier camshaft pulleys.
GT30 roller bearing turbo.
38 psi boost.
Autronic SM4 (including anti lag & anti launch control systems built into the engine management system)
4 x 1000 cc injectors.
New wiring Loom.
Spec R Grp A dump valve.
Spec R Grp A breather system.
Roose Motorsport silicone Hoses.
GGR Grp A airfilter.
Pro alloy Motorsport specification 50mm radiator.
Cosworth High performance fan kit.
Pro alloy RS500 intercooler 50mm core.
Water injection kit, plumbed into intercooler. Alloy reservoir in the boot.
Wizards of Nos : Full universal wet nitrous system. Street blaster with a 50bhp shot. Including a 11lb bottle.
Scorpion full stainless steel 3” exhaust system.
Wheels/Brakes and Tyres:
8x18 Compomotive Mo alloys (new version) in silver.
Toyo R888 225/40/18 tyres.
AP Racing 330mm drilled discs, with 4 pot callipers.
Rear discs & callipers standard.
Gearbox:
Swedish Fixit Gearkit, fully polished and strengthened.
AP Racing 6 plate clutch.
Suspension:
LEDA coilovers, 24 point adjustable.
LEDA springs.
Interior:
Full Recaro Black Leather seats.
Exterior Modifications :
RS500 grilled fog replacements.
Smoked front bumper indicator lenses.

Hi Steven,
The car has no uprated diffs. That was going to be my next thing to complete. However due to work and personal issues, i was unable to complete the last part of modifications.
So all diffs are currently standard.

I have lost interest in cars in general, and not been into the RS/Cosworth scene for some years now, the car was built over my 10 years of ownership. And was basically the spec that i wanted. I am considering going to central day, for further advertisment of the car, and putting it on the strip, just so that if any body is interested, they can see for themselves how quick the car is.
However thats if i CBA LOL

Yer i used to go to the Essex RSOC meets all the time, also many years ago i used to be the on the Essex RSOC board. I havent been to the Half Way house in years LOL.
Might take a trip up there for more advertisment of the car.
Is it still the 2nd Tuesday of the month??

Evolution of a RS owner LOL RS turbo to Cosworth. Ill give it a good polish and a clean and hopefully make the trip down
