XR2 Turbo Technics Ash Black **SOLD**
1985 currently SORN, V5 present, previous owner had 9ish months and did around 6 miles in it, previously it had been stood for the last 13 years having under gone full rebuild having in the region of £16000 spent on it.
First registered owner was Lotus cars, the second owner spent the moneym and had to Turbo Technics conversion installed and full repsray in Ash Black (previously white).
Since owning have changed the gearbox oil, engine oil & filter, flushed through and changed antifreeze, brake fluid and new RS turbo sparkplugs (NGK) and ran round the block; on a private estate, and bloody good polish/wax, paintworks ok, not show winning

Engine
1742cc forged low compression pistons (9:1 CR allegedly)
RS crank and conrods with Burton heavy duty shells and bolts
Deepend and baffled sump
New rs water pump
Big valve ported and polished head (stage 3 alleged)
Kent fast cam (CVH31)
Vernier pulley
Brand new cambelt
Turbo Technics modified carb
Turbo technics turbo manifold and turbo
New ashley performance exhaust
dual core alloy intercooler
New radiator
Alloy hard pipes and samco hoses
AP racing cluch
New alternator
electric high pressure fuel pump/filter king fuel pressure regulator
Engine runs sweet and smooth, quiet and no smoke, haven't had it on rollers yet so don't know power, running .7 bar of boost at present
Brakes & suspension
Escort Cosworth front caliper conversion with 330mm drilled discs and kevlar racing pads
Lowered adjustable front suspension
Braided brakes pipes all round (would need re-doing IMO)
Uprated rear suspension (Spax?)
Fully pollybushed
Battery tray removed and battery moved to boot
Interior-mint original xr2 interior with no marks at all
Momo racing steering wheel
Alloy momo gear knob
Uprated twin antiroll bar
Graham Goode boost gauge
Sparco pedals
No cracks in the dash whatsoever
White dials
In car adjustable boost
Transit servo and master system
Wheels & Tyres
15" TSW Stealths
New Yokohama A507 (can't get anymore)
all immaculate condition
NO MOT (well it has a certificate that expires 24th April 2010??) will small amount of need welding:
Near side rear inner arch
Offiside inner and outer sill
(Nearside inner and outer sill HAS been done nicely)
Turrets, chassis floor pan all good)
Needs washer bottle refitting hence no windscreen washers
Up for sale as haven't got time to sort it out, lovely looking car
Viewing welcome
