stunning escort rs turbo s2 d reg original and standard
from the same collection as the sapphire i have for sale on here....
this is a beautiful unrestored,almost standard car......
was family owned(wife,then husband) for many years and has only had 2 short term keepers since then.
in mercury grey with correct early recaro interior in mint condition,it came without central locking or elec mirrors but has elec windows.
stunning bodywork,virtually original paint,standard wheels,brakes and still on standard exhaust!!!
runs and drives absolutley superb-i normally hate these things now to drive but it fires up on the key hot or cold,is sweet as a nut a nice and tight.
onlymod is a set of koni suspension.
87000 miles with loads of history,old mot's etc. a stunning un molested car that still runs and drives and looks amazing!long tax and test

ok,a bit more information......
it was family owned until june 2009.there is EVERY old mot from new which verifies both the mileage to be genuine and the fact it has barely been used in the last few years.
i cannot stress just how well this car runs-it fires up the second you turn the key,no lumpiness or cutting out etc.
there are recent receipts for battery,alternator,clutch,timing belt,servicing etc.
it has had a battery tray fitted in 2000,and some very minor welding for an mot on the floor.the roof is perfect with no bubbles etc,the boot floor is also excellent,tailgate is perfect.the front wings are original along with the front panel-there is some very minor bubbling on the inner edge of the wing but its very minimal and original.
the interior is superb-door cards havent sagged,seats are lovely,everything works,old chubb style key(one key fits all).carpet is excellent,ford overmats fitted,standard stereo fitted.
it is just a lovely,lovely example that is as close to original as you will find.

i sold a 38000 mile one a year or so ago for £5k ish and to be honest i think this is a nicer,more honest/original and better drive than that one was.
