Is he mad... A definite sell at £25k and didn't take it...
i would only have priced higher to take £25,000. It is a gorgeous car, Im sure it would be a nice addition to youre collection.
Surely if he was offered 25k on the day it was put up for 25k then it would have a new owner, it wasnt put up to 27k until the next day.

But if you look at the add there wasnt a contact number on the day of the advert , I only spoke to him this morn and offered the full 25k and offered to pay a deposit today but he told me he had upped the price
His car tho so he can do what he likes

oh ok, i just thought that if someone advertises a car for 25k they will sell it as soon as they offered it (before they raise the price) if you see what i mean.
surely when paying 25k for such an awesome car could someone not meet him in the middle or is it 27k no offers?
Makes me wish even more that i had 27k sitting in my safe lol.

thanks for the comments and i do agree that it wasnt good show to change the price once i advertised it.
when serveral people are all offering you 25k who do i say yes to?? i would end up being C..T in the same way by accpeting one of those offers and saying no to the others.
best practive is to accept the best offer over 25k and that way it goes to the most interested party and everyone's a winner.
at the end of the day the car will go to the person who wants it most.

all in my opinion of course, you will sell it, but i hope you get what you want for it now
Edit: i dont see how you could have been seen as a C**t if you sold to the first person who offered your asking price?

You accept the first person to offer you the asking price, as the old saying goes "first come, first served"

^^^^ Agree 100% with that, not the best way to sell a car imo price changing.
Edited to say, stick to your first price Radders...Lol, just see it,s sold.....

nice one glad its sold and in life i have found that most people say one thing as it looks the right thing to say but when it comes to them they would have done the same and sold for more if they could and why not at the end of the day its your car and you have the right to ask what you want for it and if you had had it up for loads less would the new owner have said that far to cheap eeeerrrrrr NO he would have gone away thinking to him self what a twat you where for selling so cheap and what a great deal he had just got

Shame i missed this car but there was no way i was getting into a dutch auction which is exactly what you wanted from the start
Next time just ask the higher price and see what happens as dropping the price if it doesnt sell isnt a bad thing , but doing what you were doing makes you look a ,,,,
Glad the car has a good owner tho

If that was the case mate i would have offered the 27k and then sold it on for the nice 5k proffit you seem to think the car would fetch
#76
Never said you in person just if a car sells that quick and has so many people after it then it obviously for a reason i.e its a cheap car, and as you know to well if you see what similar 500s are fetching this was a cheap car for what is is.
