I have owned this car for just over 8 months now and having put just over 10000 miles on the clock, it's breaking my heart to use such a car for such a large amount of miles. I now need to do a 250 mile round trip every weekend as well as my daily 20 mile commute and using a Focus RS in this way would be a waste. This car is a driver's car but the A14 sure isn't a driver's road!
About the car:
30500 miles,
FSH,
3 owners including myself
The car is modified but as most of them get modified anyway, why not buy one with all the stuff you wanted to do already done?
It has:
INTERIOR
Blitz Boost Controller
Alcantara/Leather steering wheel (original retrimmed due to wear - common issue)
ENGINE
Bluefin
Forge recirculating dump valve
K&N Gen II Induction kit uprated wastegate spring
Uprated hoses Blitz boost controller
Magnaflow Cat-back exhaust.
EXTERIOR
Lowered at the front by 35mm (H&R kit) I also have the rear springs but the ride was a bit harsh.
Front lower spoiler/splitter
Carbon fibre fog light surrounds
Carbon fibre bumper fins/Vents
Tinted rear windows
Extended stone chip guarding on rear arches
Maintenance: Full Service History at Performance specialist garages
(with all invoices and reciepts, in plastic folders and arranged in date order!)
Only ever used Motul 300v oil
4 recent tyres (Yokohama Parada spec-2)
Fronts ~ 2000 miles ago.
Rears ~ 6000 miles ago.
New front brake pads Ferodo DS2500
Car serviced last week (Ford Specialist - Pumabuild Birmingham) This was the 72 month service, not just the annual one. So it's had a full oil change, pollen filter, fuel filter, all fluids, Denso Iridium plugs and a check-up (The guys said it was spotless! )
As said, the car is immaculate. Barely any stone chips because I don't drive 3" from everyone's bumper like some do!
About the experience - The car is fast, grips like it's on rails and goes like nothing else i've ever driven. It's practical because it's still a Focus, it's quiet when you want it to be but driving it is still quite an occasion, even after 10000 miles.
I want this car to go to someone who will appreciate it like I do. If circumstances were different I'd be keeping it but I can't. Perhaps I will buy another in a few months (hopefully this one!) but for now I need something I can do some miles in and not have to worry about.
Looking for £12250ono

Sadly my commute is longer than yours. I've got a Mondeo ST TDCI and I hate putting so many miles on that, I bought it with 17k on the clock and now it's heading for 60k rapidly. If I worked where I live I would certainly consider it, but it's not viable as things are sadly.

Hi guys. Just a quick bump to say that Performance Ford are featuring the car in the January issue, having seen it in the classifieds. I did the photoshoot with them on friday in a rather expensive looking studio in East Sussex!
