selling on the behalf of a very good friend of mine who hasnt the time as he had recently moved and has a little baby on the way,chris has a company car now and katy has her own little car so the poor fiesta is not needed at the min and has been parked up in his mum and dads garage
honest little car for a runner around or even a first car
the car itself is a little 1.1 ford fiesta with a gen 48 or 49k on the clock
i have all the paper work with the car with the and most of the mots looks like im missing 4 years worth
judgeing by the mots the car has never really done loads of miles a year
looks like the car has barely done 2k from the last mot
on one of the reciepts it has had spent £600 which consists of full service,new sump,rad and brakes.also looks like it has had 4 tyres and a new battery and an overhauld alternater
chris has had the little car now for over 6 years and always has a full service with mots all done by the same garage where he lives
the car has a drivers air bag thats it really, manual windows and locks (all locks work with one key)
the car itself is a good little car it does have the odd dent and scrape but the biggest downhill is that the drivers door had a big dent in it as a neighbour had reversed into the door.the damage is only on the door and has not affected nothing else,the window still goes down and everything.
because of this the car is now listed on the bottom of the log book as being a cat c
i had to have the car vic tested so he could replace the log book as when he moved dvla would not send the new look book with the changed address until he had a vic test.
i took the car with the damaged door on and even the tester said its not even that bad .
the car has had small amounts of welding done to the sills in its life and the front valence has a few holes in it.
also the car has got 12 months mot on it but no road tax
i was advised that the centre section and back box have a few holes and poss may need changing for next years mot,tappets could do with adjusting but i can do these on my lunch break so no major probs and it could do with a new pass side wing mirror as its a bit floppy (i have one just need to fit it),could do with a better radio too
the car starts and drives very well doesn't use no oil or water,suspension's a bit soft.
i gave it a quick clean and wash when i got the car, it could do with a t cut to get all the colour and that back up (not saying it needs it tho)

i have known the car when chris bought it and it has never gave him any bother ,
i start the car every week and give it a little run in our carpark at work to make sure everythings ok.
as before i am selling it on the behalf of chris and i have all the log book and so on and will give out an full receipt with the owner present if needed

No offence mate if u want to sell it in todays market, regardless of history with the door etc u r looking more at£300 just my 2 pennys

it is a bit dear as i told my mate but he wanted to try for £500 for it
ill try a bit longer and then he may finally get the picture that it needs to go for lower price
chris sees it as he spent around £600 on the last service

4 tyres,majer service,rad,sump,mot,needed new rear brake pipes i think,he had loads done do it

 

i cant afford one yet but what the insurance be for a 17 year old? just a rough guide?

 

fairly cheapish fella as it only a 1.1 fiesta i could try and find out what insurence group the car will be
