Default Fully restored 2wd cosworth sapphire

for sale my pride and joy

This car has undergone a full rebulid carried out mostly by my own hands

I have a full photographic record of the rebuild

Spec is as followws

Live mapped by stu of MSD set up to run 380-390bhp and 29psi with report by stu
Running L8 ecu
Closed looped
Motorsport colipack
Siemens 55lb injectors
T35 Turbo technics turbo with .55 housing
Full mongoose stainless steel exhaust
Grooved discs all round
Red stuff Pads
Koni adjustable suspension with eilbach springs
Group A fuel pump
Dot 5 brake fluid
Pace Rs 500 intercooler
Roose silicone hose kit
Baileys oil breather
Baileys swirl pots
Full detailed engine bay with lots of Auto specialists item such as Turbo cover,amal valve cover and brackets,map sensor bracket,oil cap,dip stick,brake reservoir,bonnet prop,power steering,header tank,blanking panels,exhaust surround,fues box cover and much more
Turbo oil cooler
AP racing clutch
New calipers all round
Goodridge brake hoses
Braided fuel lines
Escort cosworth alloys with toyo proxeys
polyurathane bushing all round
Secs Monitor
Fully retrimed leather interior including door cards in black with red stiching
Ford racing gauges oil pressure,boost,water temp(needs plumbed in)fuel pressue dummy not connected),Volts
MTX sound system with components in kick well,doors and rear shelf
Rebuilt t5 with new oil
Diff is belived to be an uprated one with new oil never removed cover on rebuild just new oil The rear end dosnt snake all over the place when power is applied.
Full respray including underneath.
all suspension etc painted.
All window surround brand new


I had this car rolling roaded this year about 800miles after stu set it up and it recorded 335bhp at wheels with 377lb/ft totque on 24psi actuator had bedded and thus has fallen from 29psi and anyone mathematically minded can pro rata this to see that once reset to 29ps will give the 380-390bhp

coulple of things need done but are quite staight forward

Ford racing water temp gauge just needs plumbed in
Abs not working
Clutch ratchet needs changing

Bargain for a 380'000+ bhp car.

Nice car, be one to have if I was in the market for one at the moment.

Isn't that tyre on the wrong way round??

Seriously though, not a fan of the quads, but the rest looks absolutely spot on... quality looking Saph mate.

it dosnt have to go but need to recoup as much as possible of the restoration cost and breaking it is the option that will do so.


Yea the economy is in ruins at the minute
