Mk1 Ford fiesta, 21k miles! One family owned, never welded!
Hello, just seing if anyone is interested in my mk1 ford fiesta.
It's a rare 950L model, 1982 in white. It has only covered 21,000 miles from new and has some old mots to back this up and you can tell by sitting in the car that this is genuine, all the electrics work perfectly, the switches feel new, the locks and doors close nicely like they would have new.
I have only recently bought the car and was planning on making the bodywork mint and using it as a runabout but another car has come up that i have been after for a long time
The engine runs sweet and quiet, it has a couple months mot left on it and has only covered about 50 miles since the last mot, so shouldn't be no troubles there!
In the boot it is immaculate, really is timewarp material, so are the sills, not been jacked on all original and cant see any rust underneath, quite amazing really seeing the age.
Has had new shocks at some point in its life and drives like it is new really.
The front pannel has a few bubbles not too noticeable and ideally would be replaced and there is a couple of stone chips on the bonnet that have caught the rust, nothing major.
The arches are solid and virtually rust free although there are a couple of light scuffs on a couple, looking under the arches it looks like new, you can still see the factory paint.
Under the bonnet is good, some surface rust around the battery tray, and could do with a degrease and a coat of paint but very solid.
Think i've covered most areas, would be an amazing shell to start a project with, 2.0 zetec etc or just to use as a retro runaround like i was going to. Not many as original and left like this.
Any questions please ask, i've only got one pic of it at the moment but if anyone is GENUINELY interested i can get as many pics as needed, i have a pit so can also take some of underside etc..... I've tried to be as honest as possible.
I'm not sure on a price so if anybody has any oppinions feel free to say so. Offers welcome.
Please no timewasters, thanks, Mark

Hey all. Got a few pictures of the fiesta today for all that was asking, it needs a good polish that i'm hoping to do this week but you get the general idea...
Arches are virtually rust free but do have some light 'granny scrapes' as i call them, lol. Thats water droplets you can see near the tops...
The sills are very impressive, virtully spotless the brown in the pics is just dirt/mud!
The under bonnet needs a bloody good clean, i've wiped off some of the dirt/grease to show what it's like with a clean...
Got a bit carried away with the pictures

Yeah if i keep it i'll prob get around to putting a front pannel on it in the summer when the rs comes out the garage.
Put it up on the ramp at work today and i couldn't really believe how clean it is, cleaner than a lot of much much newer fords
