Default BMW E30 Cosworth For Sale.......

Yes people

The E30 Cosworth is now for sale, as I have successfully completed my Driver Assessment at work, and I will be on a training course very soon for 10 months

visit http://www.e30cosworth.co.uk for multiple pictures of the car and the entire building process in the build diary

A breif spec is as follows:

320i Shell, full electric pack
E30 M3 running gear, including brakes, diff, hubs etc
H&R Cup Kit with a 40mm drop all way round
BBS RK003 17x8.5" wheels (with a brand new spare in a box, unused)
Earles braided brake hoses
brand new solid brake lines thruout the entire car.
Powerflex Polybushes thruout the car
Brand new front arms with large balljoints for durability
after market sideskirts and front/rear valance
HID Headlamps with 6000k bulbs
Genuine M3 rear spoiler (without the big silly evo lip)
Twin master cylinder setup with brake bias box
Vibratechnics uprated engine mounts (originally 4x4 cossie uprated items)

T34, 0.63 exhaust housing, 360 degree thrust bearing and 6 degree cutback exhaust wheel
L8 ECU
MSD Closed loop chip specially written for the E30, with Pectal data streaming capabilities
MSD Coilpack conversion (the latest edition of the driver)
Modified RWD MT75 gearbox to allow fitment to a YB engine and hydraulic clutch
Custom made propshaft, fully balanced and still under warranty, with new center bearing
RS500 Style alloy intercooler
Alloy radiator
Alloy turbo aftercooler radiator
Roose motorsport black boost hoses
Samco coolant hoses (in places, not thru-out)
Walbro 255 intank fuel pump (same as the Escort Cosworth uprated item)
Bailey uprated oil breather system with return to sump drain

Interior wise,
Sapphire Cosworth leather recaro's
M-tech 2 leather steering wheel
SPA Gauges for boost pressure/temp and oil pressure/temp
SECS monitor fitted into the roof pod where the original check computer was.
Brand new black leather gearlever and handbrake gaitors

No rust or rot anywhere on the car, it is 100% solid. The paint could do with another flatting down and buffing (which I will most probably do before It sells anyway )

Taxed untill 31st Jan 2007 and tested untill 5th August 2007

Mileage on the oddo is 97000, but all bearings and bushes etc etc are new, therefore, no knocking thru the steering etc etc

More information can be found in the build diary, with extensive pictures of the build.

This car has cost me in EXCESS of £6000 to build (and that includes breaking my sapphire cosworth to sell parts too). Box of receipts for parts I have bought, Obviously, no receipts for things I paid cash for Also included, is the original service history book for the car and service manuals etc etc

Looking for offers in the region of £4500. PM me if you are GENUINELY interested.

Please, no tyrekickers or test pilots!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only 2 problems with the car.

1 - there is a scuffing noise coming from the rear on over-run, I am going to try new wheel bearings to eliminate them.

2 - there is a small oil leak from the front crank seal.

Other than that, the car is problem free. There are also a few spares which I will throw in aswell

Oooo... now perhaps thats a better idea for me!

E30... the best.

Cosworth engine... to die for.

Price... reasonable.

Insurance... over a thousand pounds less than a cosworth on first quote!

The engine is approximately 300bhp and all the relevent details have been changed on the logbook, the engine number and vehicle colour

The price is an absolute bargain, i've sat down and worked out it would break for about £6500

I don't suppose you know roughly what power the original engine was do you?

Just so i can give the insurance company a rough estimate as to what BHP gains there have been.

I'm quite serious about this! Would be a belter of a car for me.

Off the top of my head, the original M20 engine offered 125bhp - so thats an increase of approximately 140% or 175bhp

Cheers Paul,

I'll call the insurance company to confirm that this evening and see what they say.
