Lovely looking car, please take some of the good advice on board and readvertise it for what it is and with a price as a guide for people.
I would also drop the keyboard gangsters too they ain't helping LOL

I have watched this post develop for the last few days, the seller must withdraw this car for sale on here, the personal jibes/attacks are not required, the seller should indeed take the advice of people who are better qualified than him with regards to authenticity/ sellability of the car, the whole thread now revolves around snipes/ snide remarks, the fact is the car is for sale,and due to the adverse negative publicity it has received, it is foolish to expect an offer which the seller would find agreeable.
There are no doubts regarding the fact that this is not an RS500, that has been well established, if this car is to sell (as a car, and not broken up into bit's) then the seller should imo withdraw the ad from this thread and attempt to sell it elsewhere, described accuratley.
If it is in very good condition then you should expect to get in the region of 8k (just my opinion) everyone else seems to have aired their's.

Nice car ,a mate of mine asked last year about a price and was quoted 14k.
But at the end of the day it is a rep and not only a 500 rep.
Its a KIT CAR
Not a 3Door reshell as people are thinking
So it shouldnt be advertised as a 3 door cossie either.
And it aint a dig as i reshelled my cossie last year as it was rotten,but it is a 3door
and not one built up in 90whatever
If you bought this car for 14k mate i feel for you ,just get it broke
I know JACKO will have a shite load of bits of you to rebuild his rolled 3 door,.
Petes advice is good and he sounds like he is willing to help you price stuff up too,so you dont lose out again .
All the people dissing Pete and other peoples advice seem to be Newbies looking at post counts and dont seem to realise the advantage of authenticity on RS cars.
