Dead engine parts wanted please
Does anyone have any of the following items they could post to me if I pay for the carriage?
Melted piston
Det marked piston
Bent conrod
Dramatically blown head gasket
Melted exchaust valve
Basically anything related to dead engines from a bad tune up really!

My mate has a damaged standard Pulsar GTiR piston, ringland melted while being rolling roaded, think he wants to keep it as a souvenir though, but if you let me know i could get any photos of it that you wish.

Its specifically det or heat damaged parts that im after really mate, so a rodded block not much use for this.
Any make is ok, its just to show what the damage looks like.
Thanks for the offer though mate

Even better!! I've quite a bit of wall space in my workshop. So far only got a Florida license plate up, one of those wheel clocks, few posters and waiting to go up is an aluminium bumper guard from subaru estate.
If anyone has any engine/gearbox bits that are fucked and chip doesn't need em first, contact me, i'll have em in a box and put em to good(ish) use

Ok chip no worries, Im led to believe it was very low on oil and it blew up during a big burnout in a show, hitting the limiter at standstill for a few minutes with no oil in has got to cause some heat
. Ill take it apart and see whats fooked and if I think anything is of use to you Ill send a couple pics too see if you can use it.

If people have got some pics already, that would be good as it would save hassle posting it to me, high res though as its for print.
Even a phone snap would be good though just for me to see if its what im looking for or not.

A friend has a melted Punto piston from lean running, melted the ringlands etc.. Can bring it to TOTB (if he still has it and if it doesn't rain).

No mate, its just for an article on tuning, and although you can cause heat and det issues with a bad tune, you cant cause water damage, lol

dead enough for you?
the reslut of running 12 psi and fuel and then the fuel stopping
don't think i've got any more pics but you can certainly have a loan of the piston while you need it
