Rich, possibly a long shot - but ill speak to Martin on friday when i see him.

mines been taken apart to be big winged and to have a mountune baffle plate fitted inside - if Martin has kept my origonal windage tray from the sump then your more than welcome to it

yes it goes front to back under neath the crank

does not bolt to the sump

you can still run one with a big wing sump as its above the sump

the one you take out the sump you dont run when you us ea big winged gated andbaffled sump as the gates and baffle replce the std item

I assume you are talking about the plate in the sump, not the one that bolts under the crank on the main cap bolts, as only small turbo engines have this?

If it's the normal 4x4 sump baffle ,brand new from ford these are Ł10.48 + Vat
Finis code is 6844115

99% sure it is only small turbo, never seen a big turbo escos engine stripped, but seem loads of late 4x4 saffs, and they don't have them. Do your maincap bolts have extra threads on the heads to accept the nuts for them?

My small turbo has the tray you are talking about and as such has no sump baffle plate apart from one small one that hooks over the driveshaft x-member

the only tray i have bolts insde the sump abover the shaft as you say

think ill just leave it sure it wont do no harm

in the sump there should be a plate that runs the length of the sump and has a few cut outs in it, held in with 4 bolts. Can't see you having a windage tray if you have no threads on the bolt heads for it
