Default Zetec turbo smoke on over run

being trying to work this out for ages but still havent solved it

Zetec turbo with t34 turbo thats just being rebuilt by midland turbo with 360 bearing etc

after giving it boost and i let off and there's nothing, then when i get back on the throttle theres a puff of blue smoke every time.
This used to happen in low gears but after i restricted down the oil line into the turbo to 1.5mm it has stopped and now only happens when in a high gear (4th or 5th) and dependent on how long im off the throttle for the bigger the puff of smoke, if i keep my foot a bit on, there's nothing

valve stem seals have being replaced, engine only has a few thousand on it but it, but i bought it already built but do trust the bloke i bought it offs word.

Compression test came up fine with all 4 very close but that wouldn't show up the oil scraper ring?

Other than that the turbo was re-coned at midland turbo which i haven't used before and don't know anyone which has used them?
Anyone?

Im between piston rings or the oil return being a bit dodgey, it does go down but the focus rs manifold makes the turbo sit quite low, ill try get a picture.

One other thing, if after giving it some and take it out of gear it wont smoke at all, and if im on the motorway at high revs and i let off and go back on throttle it will smoke

any help would be really appreciated

Valve seals have been replaced

This wont let me upload any pictures, but the oil return is lowe than usual because of the focus rs manifold, so feed goes over the top of the starter motor and its a bit of a bad angle but its 19mm so not thin.
Would this be symptoms of poor return because when i restricted the feed down to 1.5mm it stopped smoking in low gears

I don't rate Midland Turbo at all, Infact I would say they are a useless bunch of
fuckwits!

The K04 Turbo on my LCR was a recon unit from them, Ever since the car has suffered with boost creep, Massive over boost causing the car to go into limp mode.

The problem is with the wastegate, The waste gate hole is to small, They replaced the hot side with a cheap chinese part which has the wrong size waste gate port.

I called them and they said its nothing to do with the turbo and since the turbo is just out of the warranty period they wont help.

I have since found 5 other VAG owners with Midland turbos fitted all suffering the same fault.

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I now have to remove my turbo and get it ported to stop the boost creep.

Shit customer service and shit turbo's

wilko on here is supposed to be among the top dogs re quality and service/price. I used turbo rebuild in blackpool and my turbo has been spot on, cant fault them either.
